Internal medicine is concerned with the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of adult diseases by non-surgical techniques. This specialty is also called general medicine, and the doctors in this area of medicine are sometimes known as physicians or internists.

City International Hospital's Department of Internal Medicine is located on the 5th floor with single or twin rooms; implemented a negative-pressure isolation ward for a surge in airborne infectious patients. The Department also has Internal Medicine Clinics of Respiratory, Digestive Health, Cardiology, Endocrinology, and Dermatology to examine and provide suitable treatments for all patients.

Besides medical examinations, treatments and facilities as well as emergency solutions, the department also applies Advanced Imaging Modalities such as CT, MRI, MRA, DSA, Cardiac Ultrasound, General Ultrasound, Respiratory Endoscopy, Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, Biochemical and Microbiological Assays, Molecular Biology Tests for optimal results of diagnosis and therapeutic treatment.
