6 a.m.-8 a.m.

11 a.m.-1 p.m.

5 p.m.-9 p.m.

VISITING HOURS AND POLICIES AT OTHER SPECIALTY UNITS

Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

  • Visiting hours in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) are 13:00 – 14:30 and 17:00 – 19:00

  • So please take the pledge and be sure to wash your hands or use antibacterial gel every time you enter and leave a patient’s room

  • When visiting, please do not touch the tube, transmission line

  • When visiting, please avoid making noise

  • XPlease turn off Mobile phones due to equipment interference.

  • Do not bring food, overly aromatic flowers into the patient’s room. Please utilize our public sitting areas or cafeteria to enjoy snacks and small meals. Covered drinks are allowed in patient rooms.

  • Too many visitors at the same time can cause fatigue. One or two visitors may visit a patient at a time

  • Children under the age of 2 should not be taken to the ICU due to  risk of infection

  • Pediatrics: Parents and siblings are welcome any time, unless the doctor performs the procedure

  • Visiting a patient in isolation, only family members off the patient are allowed.

Neonatal  Intensive Care Unit (NICU):

9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. Parents and siblings (of any age) are welcome any time. Other children must be at least 13 years old.

VISTING POLICIES

Compliance with the prescribed visit hours: In some cases, visiting hours may be modified, through a unit's nurse, according to a patient's needs or during emergency situations.

Respect other patients and visitors: Many patients have roommates. We understand that hospitals can be noisy. We ask that you partner with us in helping us control noise by:

  • speaking softly

  • placing your cell phone setting on vibrate and

  • minimizing the number of visitors within your loved one’s room at one time.

Respect for hospital staff: Our staff is committed to serving you with courtesy and respect. So, we also ask you to also respect and courtesy with them. Do not use offensive language or violent behavior, so we can better serve your needs.

No smoking: City International Hospital is a tobacco-free hospital. That means that smoking and tobacco products are not permitted anywhere on the grounds of the hospital. We appreciate your cooperation in protecting the health and safety of all patients and employees by following this rule.

Maintain an orderly and quiet environment for patients, staff and other visitors to improve the image and quality of City International Hospital and provide safe and healing environment for patients as well as visitors.

Hospital Equipment: We ask that you consciously keep all hospital equipment and supplies as most of these equipment are expensive and need to be kept up to date. .

For the infection control of our patients, no pets are permitted in patient rooms or treatment areas.
