Exclusive breastfeeding for the first 6 months is exclusively for breastfeeding babies, not for feeding, drinking any other food or drink including cooked water, except for cases of supplementing with vitamins, minerals or medication as instructed by a physician.

Breast milk is the best and necessary food for babies at birth. Breastfeeding is a natural, economical and effective way to protect the health of mothers and children.

Exclusive breastfeeding (EBF) for the first 6 months is exclusively for breastfeeding, not feeding, drinking any other food or drink including cooked water, except for cases where vitamin supplements are required. , minerals, or medications prescribed by a physician.

Breast milk reflexes

Lactation reflex (Prolactin reflex): When a baby sucks breast, it will stimulate Prolactin secretion. Prolactin passes into the bloodstream, into the breast and makes the breast produce milk so if the baby sucks a lot, the breast will make more milk.

Milk spray reflex (Oxytoxin reflex): When the baby sucks the breast stimulates the secretion of oxytoxin. Oxytoxin works by causing the muscle cells around the follicle to shrink and push the milk out. Oxytoxin reflexes are influenced by the mother's mind. When a mother has good feelings such as being satisfied with her baby, being close, loving her, always believing in breastfeeding, she will stimulate Oxytoxin reflexes.

Breast milk suppression: There is an extra factor in breast milk called a milk suppressant. When a large amount of milk builds up in the breast, the inhibitor releases it, causing the breast to stop making milk. Therefore, if you want your breasts to produce a lot of milk, you must make your breasts always empty by feeding them often or expressing them.

Exclusive breastfeeding is very good for the development of the child.

Colostrum

Colostrum is the special milk that is secreted in the first 2–3 days after delivery. Colostrum consistency, light yellow or clear. Colostrum contains more protein than mature milk.

It is very important for babies to receive colostrum during their first breastfeeding sessions, especially within the first hour after birth. Colostrum is already in the breast as soon as the baby is born. Do not give your baby any food or drink before your baby starts breastfeeding.

Mature milk

After 3-4 days colostrum changes into mature milk. More milk makes the mother's breasts full and tight. People call this the phenomenon of down milk.
Milk for the first meal

Is milk secreted early in the feed. Milk for the first meal is clear, high in quantity and provides plenty of protein, sugar, water and other nutrients.
Milk at the end of the meal

Is milk secreted at the end of a breast feeding The breast is now full. The milk at the end of the meal is milky white because it contains more substance than milk at the beginning of the meal. Slime provides a lot of energy for children to help children grow faster.
