The disease is caused by intestinal virus. Early signs are anorexia, sore throat, difficulty swallowing. The onset of high fever children. Next is the child with erythema bullae concentrated on the palms, feet, knees, buttocks ... Another sign is mouth sores. The oral mucosa, tongue is sore.

Currently according to the MOH protocol, the disease has 4 levels: Grade 1 can be treated at home. However, parents must know the signs of severe changes to take children to health facilities. Severe signs of the disease are irritability, coma, convulsions, startling .... Complications of the disease are respiratory failure, breathing disorders.

Treatment of hand, foot and mouth disease

Prevention of hand, foot and mouth disease

  • Isolate children at home for at least 7 days, do not let children go to school to avoid spreading them to other children.
