Welcome Dr. Nguyen Tan Duc as Head of Laboratory Department at CIH.

City International Hospital (CIH) is pleased to welcome Dr. Nguyen Tan Duc to our Medical Team beginning October 2021 as Head of Laboratory.

 Dr. Nguyen Tan Duc is a Laboratory Specialist with expertise in all fields of Laboratory. He completed his Medical Degree from Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Cho Ray Hospital and actively continued his education and received many certificates from CME programs related to his expertise.

With over 20 years of professional and managerial experience, Dr. Nguyen Tan Duc has held many key positions: Deputy Head of Laboratory at Saigon International Hospital for Obstetrics and Gynecology, Head of Laboratory Department at Saigon International Hospital for Obstetrics and Gynecology. Nhan Ai Hospital and Tam Tri Saigon General Hospital.

  • 1994: Graduated as a General Doctor of Hue Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital, full-time.
  • 1997: Certificate of pathology at Cho Ray Hospital.
  • 2001: Certificate of testing at Cho Ray Hospital.
  • 2016: Certificate of Biosafety at Pasteur Institute.
  • 2020: Certificate of Foreign Examination at the HCMC Accreditation Center.

Work experience 

  • 2001 – 2002: Deputy Head of Laboratory - Saigon International Hospital for Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • 2002 – 2006: Surgeon at Trung Vuong Hospital.
  • 2007 – 2008: Head of Laboratory of Nhan Ai Hospital.
  • 2008 – 2018: Head of Laboratory Laboratory, Nancy.
  • 2019- Sept.2021: Head of Laboratory Department of Tam Tri Saigon General Hospital
  • Present: Head of Laboratory Department of City International Hospital.
